De Paula y / And from Elvira, below

Hola a todos, hoy estoy escribiendo yo (Paula) porque están todos muy ocupados. Os voy a hablar de Belén en el campamento, de María en fisioterapia, de nuestro campamento, de nuestra aventura en la playa, del regalo de cumpleaños que nos dio Adele y de lo que hemos hecho hoy.

 Belén en el campamento se lo está pasando genial, ayer fue el día de la pizza, y ella comió pizza, también se monto en un autobús de gimnasia, e hicieron gimnasia en el autobús.
 
A María, por otro lado en fisioterapia lo está haciendo muy bien y no ha ido nada mal por ahora y esperemos que tampoco vaya mal el resto de los días.

A Pati y a mi en el campamento nos está yendo muy bien,  hemos hecho nuevas amigas y en todas las clases nos lo estamos pasando genial.

Mientras María estaba en fisioterapia con mis padres, nosotros nos fuimos a la playa y fue chulisimo, la bandera estaba en color rojo al principio, pero luego estaba amarilla, nos bañamos unas cuantas veces.

Como Adele no iba a estar para nuestro cumpleaños nos dio cuarenta dolares y nos fuimos de compras y nos compramos ropa y muchas mas cosas.

Hoy hemos ido a un restaurante y hemos comido hamburguesas, luego hemos ido a comer un yogur helado y Belén, Adele y yo nos montamos en el  tiovivo y Adele se mareó y luego volvimos a casa.

 For those of you who don´t speak Spanish, Paula has written an account, telling us about Belen having a pizza day at camp, how she and Patty are enjoying their classes at their camp (they have a class schedule like a high school,); and  how Adele took them shopping for their birthdays. (See photo above) We had a great lunch all together this afternoon (see photo above)

I will add my two cents here, and comment on how much we have all enjoyed Adele´s visit (she leaves tomorrow) and how much she has helped with getting us all settled in, entertaining the girls and being part of our family again.  We will all miss her!

Yesterday while Maria was at PT, Angel and I took the other girls and Adele to Juno beach, our favorite.  It was a windy day, so the water was rough, but the girls loved it, especially Belen who has never really experienced the big waves. Being as this is South Florida, the storm clouds moved in, but we made it to the car in time, thank goodness!

Meanwhile, Maria has made enormous  progress already in her PT, lifting her leg up by herself and becoming quite agile with her crutches.  Her therapists were amazed!  She will begin going to camp with her sisters on Monday and cannot wait!

On Tues she needs to go to the hospital for the first turn of the internal lenghtening rod with a magnet! The technicians will instruct her parents on how to do it at home.  They will need to do it three times a day!  And so the fun begins...

Adele and the girls were busy this morning preparing blueberries muffins from scratch- delicious!
