The operation was a success!

 Taking advantage that the Sánchez-Girón Orcajadas were busy I (Adele) took control of the blog

The big news of the day of course is that María´s operation went great! We were able to visit her in the hospital yesterday and even though she was a little groggy she welcomed us with a huge smile! Here sisters brought here balloons and pressies. The big girls put her up to date on the activities that they have at day camp.

Patty is already very popular and has made a friends with a girl from Peru, and her favourite class is called ¨Girls Just Wanna Have Fun¨.

Paulita on the other hand was told that she is the best player on the soccer team, and she was the only girl on the team!!

Belen spent the whole day with me and Grandpa and Grandma, and we took her to see her new camp. She was not happy with the idea of camp until she met the teacher that spoke Spanish, so she seemed a little more willing...we will keep you posted after her first day.

Other than that, it has been pouring non stop all day, well, the past 5 days. The streets are full of puddles and frogs and the sky is filled with lightning. Hopefully Ill get to see the sun at some point before I go!

Maria should be home today, its only been one night but we miss her sorely!

After visiting the hospital, María told us to go celebrate her success at a place called Hurricane. So under the torrential rain we made it there and I was able to eat a super Cubano
