Recién llegados de la consulta con Dr. Robbins, uno de los asistentes de Paley, para ver la primera radiografía del alargamiento del fémur derecho de María. Todo tiene una pinta buenísima, 11 mm de nuevo hueso en proceso de generación y el tobillo con un aspecto excelente también, aunque hasta el 8 de julio no podremos empezar a apoyar la pierna operada todavía. Os mandamos fotos.
Los doctores están muy contentos de cómo está yendo todo, y en fisioterapia María está respondiendo muy bien, sus parámetros de movilidad cumplen con los protocolos a estas alturas del alargamiento. Así que estamos muy contentos.
Estamos en casa ahora comiendo y en un rato salimos para el aeropuerto de Miami para recoger a Pati que está volando ya para acá, le vamos a dar un abrazo enorme cuando la veamos. Os contaremos mañana cómo va el reencuentro entre las hermanas, nunca habían estado separadas tanto tiempo antes.

Just arrived from the consultation with Dr. Robbins, one of Paley's assistants, to see the first x-ray of the lengthening of Maria's right femur. Everything looks great, 11 mm of new bone growing and the ankle with an excellent look too, although until July 8 we cannot start weightbearing. We re enclosing 2 photos.
The doctors are very happy with how everything is going, and in physical therapy Maria is responding very well, her mobility parameters comply with the protocols at this point of the lengthening. So we are all glad.
We are home now eating and in a while we are heading for Miami airport to pick Patty up who is flying by now, we are going to give her a huge hug when we see her. We will tell you tomorrow how the reunion between the sisters is going, they had never been separated so much time before.
