False Alarm!

Don't panic!  It was only a false alarm, but the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Dept. paid us a visit this evening, when the house smoke detector went off!  I was broiling a delicious steak in the oven and when I opened the door to take it out, the alarm started sounding!  As the alarm is connected to a service, they automatically alerted the Fire House.  Was I ever embarrassed!  The firemen were very understanding, and I even invited them to dinner.  However they preferred to return to their chicken salad dinner- their loss!
