Winding up

You might be wondering where we've been these days! Well, it's been busy as we wind up our visit here, going to the beach every morning, shopping, swimming in the pool, going to the library, visiting our friends...

On Friday, we went to the hospital to say goodbye to Dr. Paley's team and I asked when they thought Maria would be able to begin leg-lenghtening. One of the doctors said that he thought that probably in two to three years! Apparently, her femur needs to grow more to do it effectively. So it looks like we will have a break from this all.

Today we said goodbye to Martina, her sister and mother. We will miss each other, but this is a friendship that definitely will continue in Madrid.




Tomorrow we are going home- well, at least some of us!
