While we were waiting...

First of all, Maria saw Dr. Paley yesterday evening. He was accompanied by a group of doctors from all over the world, who had come to see what Paley accomplishes. One doctor from Argentina commented to Icho that he considered it "science fiction"!
So, it seems, so far, so good. Maria will have to return to have her fixator taken off in four to five months, if all continues on track.

We had a busy day before that though, first having gone to the beach and out to lunch. Everything is so much more fun with Elisa! Then, while Diana, Icho and Maria were at the hospital, Patty and Paula had a baking party with Elisa, and made pizzas and cookies- yum!
Elisa will be leaving this afternoon and we all miss her already!
