The end is near!

It's August already- how time flies!  We've all been super busy here, but the best news is that Diana is back and our family unit is complete! It's such a pleasure to have her back with us- we really missed her!

Lots of stuff happening, first, last week, we attended Belen's school performance.  For a kid who just started speaking English, she sure was belting out "You are my sunshine"!  With a big smile on her face, she was darling!

The big girls have finished their summer camp, which was a resounding success.  They received a memory book of their days there, and they are all over the book.  A great way to remember this summer!

Last night we had a mega party here at home- we were 17 people!  It was great- two Paley Institute coordinators, Caroline and Jennifer, who have been a godsend helping us out, came with Jennifer's children, Abby and Charlie.  Then our Italian friends, Camila and Matilde, bringing  delicious gelato, came with Stella and daughters Bianca and Constanza, straight from Lake Garda!  The kids all got along great guns, Charlie being the king of the harem of women!  We are so lucky to have these great friends here.

Maria continues to do well, though now at the end of the lengthening, her hamstrings are very tight and she has to wear her brace a few hours every day as well as at night.  But the end is near!!!
